St. George Restaurant

A one-of-a-kind restaurant in the St. George area, the Painted Pony offers fine dining in a unique atmosphere, complete with contemporary Southwestern art, fresh flowers, and romantic lighting in the evening. Patio seating is available. Open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday and dinner on Sunday, the restaurant boasts an extensive wine list, an attentive wait staff and reasonable prices for an establishment of its caliber.

You will not find the Painted Pony’s menu items at any other St. George restaurants. Its appetizers and entrees are delectable – a true escape from the ordinary. Appetizers include mouth-watering delights such as phyllo baked brie, pan seared crab cakes, Sicilian style calamari, and coconut shrimp. Sesame crusted escolar, bacon wrapped duck, wild salmon rolls, and butternut squash ravioli are a few of its delicious entrée offerings.

The Painted Pony makes its food with the freshest possible ingredients. It uses fresh, organic vegetables, obtaining as many as possible from St. George area growers. The escolar served at the restaurant is line caught. The restaurant’s staff picks its own watercress and maintains an herb garden. The restaurant only serves vegetables when they are in season for optimal flavor. Due to St. George’s mild climate, the Painted Pony is able to use local produce almost year round.
